Building Home-Based Palliative Care: A Starter Series

As the demand for compassionate and specialized care grows, home health professionals play a critical role in delivering palliative care to patients with serious illnesses. This webinar will provide an in-depth look at how home health agencies, nurses, and caregivers can integrate palliative care into their patient population, ensuring comfort, dignity, and quality of life for patients and their families.

By participating in this webinar attendees will:

  • Learn the costs of starting and maintaining a Palliative Care program

Series Schedule:

Part 1: April 23—Palliative Care – Business Case and Start Up Considerations Explore the financial rationale and initial steps for establishing effective palliative care services - COMPLETED

Part 2: May 28—Palliative Care – Staffing Models Discover optimal team compositions and staffing approaches for diverse care settings

Part 3: June 25—Palliative Care – Growth, Documentation & Coding Learn strategies for program expansion and proper documentation practices

Registration Fees: The cost of this education is per attendee, registrations may not be shared between agencies. Your registration covers the access of only one log in to the webinar. Registrants are encouraged to log in to the program at least 15 minutes prior to the start time. Additional logins will be charged an additional registration fee.

Cancellations: Refunds will NOT be issued for cancellations received March 26, 2025 or after and non-paid registrations will be billed full conference price. Cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellations received prior to March 26, 2025 will receive a 90% refund.

Confirmation: Handouts and related materials will be sent to you shortly before the program to the email address you provide.

Continuing Education: Attendees receive 1.0 continuing education units for Florida licensed skilled nursing, occupational therapy, and speech therapy for each webinar.
