Fall Reduction
The validity of the multi-factorial fall risk assessment tool (MACH-10) developed by the Missouri Alliance for Care at Home (MACH) Fall Prevention Benchmarking Initiative has been tested. Home Health Agencies may now use this single tool for their OASIS required patient fall risk assessment.

SP participants have benefited from being able to benchmark with other home care agencies. But more importantly, quality care for patients has improved because sources of infection related to patient population, staff and family, as well as techniques and compliance with accepted standards of care are identified.
